In its latest FDD Item 20 (fiscal 2025), SMARTSTYLE reported 911 franchised outlets at year end. 171 of 1,077 franchised outlets open at the start of the year left the system — an annualized exit rate of 15.9%— while 5 new outlets opened. Systemwide units moved -38.2% over 2022–2025.
